Rental Availability at the Oxford Performing Arts Center

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. We have two primary rental spaces available:

  • The OPAC Theatre – Seating 1,200
  • The Studio at OPAC – Seating 200

Due to our extensive year-round programming and operational commitments, the OPAC Theatre is currently fully booked and unavailable for rentals through December 31, 2025. In general, availability for rentals in the OPAC Theatre is extremely limited, as the vast majority of dates are reserved for OPAC’s in-house productions, touring performances, and our partnership with Oxford City Schools. Most rental requests for this space cannot be accommodated. We will begin accepting rental requests and date holds for the Theatre starting June 15, 2025 for future dates.

For those seeking a flexible and high-quality event space, the Studio at OPAC is often a more viable option related to date availability. With seating for up to 200 guests, it provides an excellent setting for smaller performances, meetings, and special events.

The Oxford Performing Arts Center is the premier performance venue in the region. Featuring a state-of-the-art 1,215 seat proscenium theatre, a 200 seat Studio theatre, and well-equipped meeting spaces, OPAC is capable of hosting a wide range of events and performances. Located in the heart of Oxford, Alabama, OPAC is within 30 miles of 400,000 potential patrons and within a 60-mile radius of 1.6 million. Effective January 1, 2023:  The Oxford Performing Arts Center is not available for rentals to independent promoters of touring artists and to self-represented acts.

Important Notes:

  • Booking priority is given to events presented in-house by OPAC.
  • No Date is guaranteed or should be considered firm until a signed contract is executed along with payment of any applicable deposits. If you do not have a signed contract, your date is not confirmed.
  • All ticketing is handled exclusively by the OPAC Box Office. No tickets may be printed, sold, or distributed by renters.
