Event Details

Dallas String Quartet, also referred to as DSQ or DSQ Electric, is a #2 Billboard-charting American Classical Crossover ensemble founded in 2007 by composer and violist Ion Zanca. A fusion of contemporary classical and pop music, DSQ is referred to as “Bach meets Bon Jovi” and uses both traditional and electric strings performing as a quartet with the full accompaniment of drums and guitar. DSQ most recently performed with country superstar Jason Aldean during the Academy of Country Music Awards for an unforgettable rendition of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” in a tribute to the late country superstar, Toby Keith. For this tour, the core group of violist Ion Zanca, violinists Valory Hight and Melissa Priller, and bassist Young Heo, spice up the Christmas music catalog with their unique blend artistry, musicianship, and fun.
