Rubato Semifinals

Event Details

The Rubato Semifinal round is a free event that provides the enthralling young pianists the opportunity to perform and showcase their musical skills in front of an audience and the adjudicators for the first time after a week of masterclasses, auditions, and rehearsals. This competition will be the first of its kind as it will incorporate both classical and jazz music genres. During this round of the competition, the audience will have the chance to vote for their favorite competitor, a feature unique to Rubato. The winner of the “audience favorite” will be announced at the Finals on Saturday, and will receive the Bronze Medal and $500. Only 12 of the 21 competitors will make it through this round and on to the Finals.
