Oxford Lifelong Learning Program opens with history lecture
Mar 20, 2017The new Oxford Lifelong Learning Program began tonight with a presentation by Mr. Hunter Gentry. The first session, part of a four-lecture series entitled, Oxford: City at the Crossroads of History, served as an introduction to local history and genealogical resources available.
The series continues next Monday, March 27 at 6:00pm. "We invite the community to come out and learn about Oxford's unique and exciting history. While the session does take the style of a lecture, I certainly encourage both questions and stories from those in attendance. I look forward to diving in deeper to Oxford's past throughout the course," said Gentry.
The new Lifelong Learning Program features eight courses this Spring with a larger course catalog coming this Fall. To learn more about the new the Lifelong Learning Program, click here.
